Heretoir is an atmospheric metal band from germany that combines the melodic energy of Modern metal with the raw power of black metal and the fragile beauty of post rock & shoegaze. Formed in 2006 by david “eklatanz” conrad, the band is one of the earliest representatives of The post black metal genre delivering a nostalgic, melancholic and soothing soundtrack in a mad And slowly dying world.
Heretoir deals with existence, self-reflection, fears and dreams – life in all its facets. The lyrics Walk along melancholic paths that address the decline of nature and philosophical questions Of the human condition. A musical universe set for the discovery of one’s deepest thoughts and The soul that rests in each of us.
The discography of the quintet from augsburg and hamburg spans over several eps, two Full-length albums, a mini-album and a compilation while the release of the new album "Nightsphere" is imminent.
Since 2011, heretoir has regularly toured all over europe, headlined concerts in china and Performed at some of the most prestigious festivals in germany.
