The band talked to Evil Greed about the stories and the memories behind their favorite records including The Long Walk byUniform, Let Pain be Your Guide by Portrayal of Guilt, Errorzone by Vein, Dopesmoker by Sleep, Posthuman by Harms Way, Marked for Death by Emma Ruth Rundle, Burnt Sugar by Gouge Away, Nightmare Logic by Power Trip, Caustic by Primitive Man, Only Self by Jesus Piece and Thousand Mile Stare by Incendiary.
With their last record Savior(Profound Lore Records), recorded/mixed at Kingsize Sudios in Los Angeles and produced by Benjamin Greenberg (Uniform, The Men, Algiers) Soft Kill have matured into a powerhouse, effortlessly combining genres, always with frontman Tobias Grave’s powerful, raw emotional storytelling where we see a person come to grips with their own reflection. Savior follows the band’s 2016 LP Chokewhich saw the band on a constant touring cycle in support of it through North America and Europe with demand for the band being on a constant upswing. Soft Kill lineup currently consists of Tobias Grave (vocals/guitar/synths), Conrad Vollmer (guitar), Owen Glendower (bass) and Adam Bulgasem (drums).
