Rossi präsentiert sich trotz seines Bedachts auf das Wesentliche so als Künstler, der sich bewusst vom reduzierten Akustikgitarren-Minimalismus des deutschen Songwritertums abhebt und durchdachten Sound-Konstrukten frönt, denen die Lumineers, Calexico oder Tom Waits mit Ehrfurcht horchen würden.
