Her is a science-fiction romance film directed by Spike Jonze. In the not so distant future, Theodore, a lonely writer, purchases a newly developed operating system designed to meet the user's every need. To Theodore's surprise, a romantic relationship blossoms between him and the software. Technology and love blend in an unexpected tale that explores the nature of emotion, and the ways that tech isolate - and connect - us all. Her was a striking success, and was nominated for five five Oscars including Best Picture.
The original score to Her was composed by the band Arcade Fire with additional music provided by Owen Pallett. Their score is a constant companion to Theodore, and runs as a delicate, airy thread through the film. Though critically lauded and nominated for Best Original Score, Her has been unreleased until now. Her (Original Score) release features 13 tracks from Arcade Fire and Owen Pallet mastered specifically for the vinyl format, including the delightful "Supersymmetry". This release is pressed on a red marble record and housed in an inner sleeve within a single pocket jacket.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION - VINYL ORDERS
Please note that we do our best to protect vinyl records ideally for shipping, using our custom made mailers and additional cardboard squares. However, we can not guarantee that no damage on the way occurs. Ordering is at one's own risk. Vinyl might be delivered unsealed as we have to open copies to check vinyl colours, if not sufficiently labeled by the distributor / label.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PRE-ORDERS
Pre-order means that your item will not ship before it's release date and so will all other items on your order. We do not split up orders, everything will be shipped all at once together in one package.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PRODUCT IMAGES
Please note that most of the images in our store are not actual photos but mock ups. These mock ups are digital representations of what we expect the final product to look like - however they do not represent the final product. Final vinyl pressings, prints, etc. may look slightly different.
