Partisan departs from the norm. While the band members may be known for past and current HC and metal-derived projects (Rise and Fall, Oathbreaker), this is not more of the same.
With their post-punk inspired sound, driven by noisy, yet clean and bright guitars and pulsating bass, Partisan channel influences from their collective musical pasts into songs that deliver their power and urgency through texture, dynamics and dark melody. Massive noise, reverb and distortion but always with a melodic approach and a keen sense of songcraft and dynamics.
Dark hypnotic poptunes that beguile and bewilder, drowned in fuzz and reverb, not unlike The Jesus and Mary Chain / Killing Joke / The Wipers / A Place To Bury Strangers.
For their first official release on Hypertension Records they teamed up with producer Michael Neyt at the Jetson Studio (Kortrijk). The record was mastered by Brad Boatright (Beastmilk, Obituary, Corrosion of Conformity).
This debut 12" will be cut on 45 rpm and delivered on the highest quality 180gr vinyl for your audiosonic pleasure, not unlike the good ole Creation Records days.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - VINYL ORDERS
Please note that we do our best to protect vinyl records ideally for shipping, using our custom made mailers and additional cardboard squares. However, we can not guarantee that no damage on the way occurs. Ordering is at one's own risk. Vinyl might be delivered unsealed as we have to open copies to check vinyl colours, if not sufficiently labeled by the distributor / label.
